Rest now precious

While Bones and Sawyer continue thier adventures I’d like to recount an adventure that happened to me this week. On Monday last week I began to feel a bit of a headache. Having suffered from migraines for most of my life I just chowed down on some paracetamol and kept working. It wasn’t until late in the day when I realised I was having trouble focusing and that my headache had escalated to a migraine. By 11 that night I was having a little chuck over the toilet bowl and usually that’s how my migraines end. However come Tuesday it was the same again but the pain and eventual throwing up was twice as bad. Wednesday was even more migraine fun so that I finally went to the doctor. It was after discribing the blurred vision that my doctor panicked and told me I may have had a stroke. So off to the Emergency ward at the hospital I headed. 3 hours later I was finally told I hadn’t had a stroke but I WAS staring at screens too much.

That’s a problem for me as not only is my job all about looking at screens this comic is done digitally. Additionally I just got given a PS3 and without my help Batman may never get out of Arkham. But vomiting IS a larger problem so I’ve decided I’m going to try and work a bit less over the next few weeks and give my eyes a break. If that means the comic is late I do apologise. I love Sawbones and want to keep doing it as long as I can.

Perhaps the answer lies is some sort of vomit tube that could remain connected to your face to allow you to continue drawing at the computer, while your regurgitation is conveniently sucked away?
